They don't keep in touch as I would like them to but everyone is so busy these days and I don't text and the like but prefer to use the landline. I just wish my son had the same feelings for me as my daughter and her family. Her has caused so much heartache in deciding to cut us all out of his life for what is now over 11 years.Mimsiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00249766510078357225noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1565524656735710374.post-56838864723101654222013-04-17T13:18:27.055+08:002013-04-17T13:18:27.055+08:00Actually the lass in Alaska is our granddaughter (...Actually the lass in Alaska is our granddaughter (daughter of my daughter) but we do miss her and wish her well. I do have Skype but it is a case of setting times as she works strange hours over there. She and her mum use Skype occasionally.
I didn't see the film "Titanic" and didn't really want to as I felt they perhaps trivialised that tragic disaster that took so many lives. I always remember as it was on mum's birthday so a joyful memory of my mum and a sad reminder of the other event on that day. xxMimsiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00249766510078357225noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1565524656735710374.post-61073153182594573072013-04-17T13:13:54.727+08:002013-04-17T13:13:54.727+08:00I do love that you stay in contact with your mothe...I do love that you stay in contact with your mother still. It is heartwarming and lovely.
And I also really, really like the love and pride with which you speak of the rest of your family. No wonder you are so much loved.Elephant's Childhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06650565833097914052noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1565524656735710374.post-88317792720011626102013-04-16T18:47:27.361+08:002013-04-16T18:47:27.361+08:00Alaska, I can only imagine what that must be like ...Alaska, I can only imagine what that must be like having a daughter living so far away, I bet you miss her. do you Skype? Having the children at different stages of schooling is special to watch. Hospitality industry I can definitely relate to as I train in that industry. I have just seen a picture of the Titanic against a modern day liner, frightening how small the Titanic was, I thought of those people today to. xxxAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09757728297450699103noreply@blogger.com
